The Villages Freshwater Fishing Club has over 450 members that share their fishing experiences both inside the bubble and outside on local lakes and fisheries.
There are several species that are available in the ponds within The Villages to include Largemouth Bass, Tilapia, Bluegills, Catfish and many more.
Initial membership is $20, this includes a custom nametag that has your personalized name and the freshwater fishing club logo on it.
Renewal is $10 which goes for the calendar year of January 1st to December 31st.
Membership is restricted to Villages residents only. In some cases this applies to those who may be renting a home here in the Villages as well. Please just ask if you have any questions.

The club also endeavors to
Develop and improve the skills and techniques of freshwater fishing and its related activities.
Be a source of information at monthly fishing clinics.
Promote conservation ethics with regard to the "Catch and Release" of game fish.
To actively support state and federal legislation or regulations which serve to protect or improve our natural resources.
